8. DOATAP ACADEMIC RECOGNITION
A major advantage of this study route is its academic recognition in Greece through DOATAP.
Previous graduates following this route have already successfully obtained DOATAP recognition.
Learn IT can undertake the recognition procedure after graduation, including:
- Preparation of the recognition file
- Checking of supporting documents
- Administrative coordination
- Submission support
- Monitoring of the procedure
Why is DOATAP important?
DOATAP provides academic recognition, which is different from study routes relying exclusively on professional-equivalence recognition through ATEEN.
Academic recognition is particularly valuable for graduates interested in:
- Recognised academic use of their degree in Greece
- Greek public-sector opportunities
- ASEP procedures, according to each call
- Master's studies
- Doctoral studies
- Further academic development
- Procedures requiring an academically recognised foreign university qualification
The student therefore completes a full 240-ECTS foreign university Bachelor degree, rather than relying only on professional equivalence.
